Oscar the Mountain dog.... 01/04/2007 too 03/12/2018

Kentmere Horseshoe and wild camp,including stunning sunset,night shots, sunrise an inversion and brocken spectres ..Nov 2018

  With the problems of general life, this year,ive not got out as much with Lee as i normally does it was good to meet up again I arrived early and waited for Lee at the weir and then made our way up the Kentmere valley in just one car.I had seen some inversion and driven through some fog on the way here,as we climbed you could see these inversions in the distance  Upper Kentmere valley was still asleep as we passed the last few, dream location houses,and headed up towards to the high ground  We decided to camp early and choose Harter fell,thinking it would help us get an inversion in the morning.The forecast was for strong Easterly winds as the day went ones we found a nice spot just off the summit high ground  Shelter pitched we went for a stroll down to Little Harter fell and then pick up some water as we returned  Sunset is early this time of years four pm saw u...
