We got picked up by taxi from Cairngorm ski station and 20 mins later were dropped off down Glen Feshie, near to that old Eco house
Spot the dog |
view from Meall Dubhag ish
The first day was ok to start then turned a bit misty, but we had a good 1st nite camped up at 889940.The next day was much the same as we went and collected Beinn Brothain, seen in this pic
and here i think
Honestly hes a lot happier than he looks here |
The view from the Devils peak
Was great to back along this great line of mountains
By this time the skies were giving us some great cloud and backdrops
Looking down on the bothy on one of Scotlands finest valleys and through routes |
After a long day we had started looking out for a camp spot for last hr or so but nothing came ...then as often happens we found a nice sweet spot which fit two happy trailstars about 957972
Cracking view to have a brew too
Was just around 2c but turned into a stunning night
The 2nd moring refused to give a sunrise, and we were camped just below this pic |
A little time after getting going the cloud came in and the wind picked up a little, then sadly the rain joined in for a while
After a few hrs we dropped down to cross the Lairig Ghuru on route to the bouldry Chalamain gap
Loch Morlich comes back into view
We had decided, due the forcast we had managed to pull in,to change the planned route and head back early to the car....Then as often happens it cleared, but only leaves more trips to do for Lee and me in this great area
I hadnt got my Gopro, when we did this trip but heres a short clip off the 2nd morning. The wind had picked up and was blowing back up the valley and straight into my open door way,so i had too just move it round while i had brecky and packed up
