Two Nites above Langdale, with Matt and Lee
So met up with Matt holland friday afternoon and we had a good natter as we walked up out of the valley to camp just below Great knott, above Red tarn
So matt had brought his Solomid and was good to see the difference between it and the Duomid
It was a lovely evening but a biting wind,Lee was walking in from Three Shire later so i wandered over the various peaks of Cold pike and looked if i could see him
Tea was another Bla Bland and it was another belter,i bought a job lot of these from Bascamp foods, who ive used for last few years, happy to report this one tasted excellent .....seems i have another favorite flavour
Matts Solomid
Oscar enjoyed doing the dishes |
Lee turned up around 8-30 and we had tea and a chat for a while
Had a play with the Gopro but the super bright moon kept washing things out
Saturday was a great start to the day, feet were soon pushed into trail shoes and brews were on
I was lucky to catch the first of the suns warmth ! |
So after a walk back over Cold pike and the Crinkles Matt left us to return home, after another dinner stop me and Lee decided to have a short day and return over the Crinkles to camp on Little Stand,a spot we both have wanted to camp on for a while now
We found a good spot just below the summit Cairn. The biting wind had us brewing through the afternoon.Sadly sunset was another no show
So the morning wasnt much, with snow flurries followed us back down to Lees car and then a breakfast at Brambles....Thanks for looking

ReplyDeleteNice.
ReplyDeleteSoon I will have a Solomid XL and a Cuben Duomid, because I is a greedy suvern bar steward who craves to live up in 'T Norf.
That may require a divorce.
But heh.. sacrifice is sometimes needed 😂😂
Ta both..solomid XL and Duomid both very similar aren't they ?
