Twenty Nineteens Wild camps


So the first camp of 2019 came in on the 19th Jan with a camp on Hart crag,with Lee



No views on the way up and all night,but the next door brought some very nice light



Next was a camp on Castle How,with Lee, above the Langdales on a day of deep snow,in the valley approaches





March 23rd saw me pitched up on Grey Friar summit 





The week after saw me camped on Rannerdale,with Matt 








April 13th saw me spend two nights on a loop of Mallerstang,with Lee again 

 



April 19th saw me return to Scotland to collect the Ben Starava munros,for Lees munro round ,with 2 nites camping 


5th of May saw me camped just of Crinkle crags ridgeline 




Sadly the 18th of May saw a few of meet up to remember Kate Tyler who sadly left us all...Rip Kate...with Ste,Dan and Shirley






The next night i camped out with one of my brothers,Ross, who was visiting from his home in Vancovour,Red Screes was chosen for the pitch 





June 1st saw me do a 3 day walk up from Ravenglass over the Duddon fells.The first night was above Devoke water with the last night on Muncaster fell





The end of the July saw me meet up with Alex and a night on Blake rigg after a circuit of the Coniston fells 


August saw me meet two lads of Trek-lite and we had an extended Kentmere horseshoe route,the first night on Harter fell and the 2 nd just off Yoke







The 8th of September saw me travel back up to the Artic circle area in Sweden / Norway with Lee and a stunning weeks backpacking 


The 1st night had a lovely view of Gahperćohkka behind camp 


2nd night was by the Lake Leirvatnet and the only Northern lights we got on this trip 


Onto the 3rd night and we camped a few miles East of Lossivatnet lake 


The 4 th was at the East end of Ćunojávri


The 5th saw us stay in this hut at Valfojåkka,as we thought ground for camping would be hard to find on the next section,plus the location was stunning ......free wood too 




The final night was just south of Gátterjávri 


Begining of October saw me meet up with Darron for a night on Cold pike  


Mid October saw me camped over by Load pot hill, to hear the staggs rutting 



The end on November saw me camp on Loft crag with a stunning night sky






The 2nd night i walked over the Langdale pikes and met up with Martin and a camp on Blea rigg and another lovely clear night 





Around 26 nites out over the year,a quieter year as i moved house at the beginning of the year ...so seasons greetings and safe travels to you all,for 2020   .......Peter
