Duomid XL
So way back on the 28 Th June i placed an order with Ron at MLD,sadly this is wrong time of year to order, but while i was out this wknd it arrived
Im asking every one not to mention the horrid C word as i dont want them involved anymore than they are,if any one wants to know just message me
It being a Cuben Duomid XL and an Inner, plus some spare pegs, just because i think there the best pegs out there for 80/90 % of the year
This is the Mld Duo xl inner ,i had asked Ron for a T zip and walls but sadly he said he was to busy to do custom work,im trying to find someone who might do it for me as we speak
This is my Oookworks inner
Ive already had messages/emails and DM,s asking differnet questions so hoping these details will answer a few of them
- Duo xl no bag no guy lines on yet 493g,this includes an extra peg point i had Ron fit to the normaly closed panel
- I,ve cut 9 lengths of yellow cord at 24" each one weighs 3 g
- Cuben Inner no bag 343g
- Inner W 48" L 87" H 52"
- Pole height 59" with edge to the floor
- Ive ordered up some 2 mm cord as ive decided the 1.2mm stuff i bought will be too much of a faff to tidy up in winter
- I plan to cut the corner guys at 60" and the mid panel ones at 40"
- Edit fully guyed outer is 549g that includes 3 1m panel guyines 4 1.5m corner guys and a 3m guyline following the main zip down, hat could also be attached to top loop and then pegged out .....guy line 2mm at 3g per m
I was suprised just how well my Trailstar inner fit too
Hope to be out on the hill with it soon
Thanks for looking,Safe travels Peter
So its had its first airing and i was asked to do a pitching vid to show the shelter,so here it is
Heres a speeded up vid of me pitching the Duomid XL and the inner
